Corbeau's Enterprise Edition of Emissary™ is a multi-tier web services-based architecture using the following components:

Web Services Engine

Administration Console

Data Store

Scheduler (optional module)

Emissary™ Web Services Engine

Accepts SOAP requests delivered via HTTP or HTTPS protocol to execute EmissaryTM transaction profiles

Executes on-demand transactions from an automated message broker, scheduler, or via manual Administration Console requests

Emissary™ Administration Console

A secure, browser-based application that allows a user to maintain the system and review operation al reports

Provides an interface for creating and maintaining integration or reconciliation profiles

Multiple security roles control access to sensitive functionality, like user and group security

Emissary™ Data Store

RDMS that contains the operational data used by the Web Services Engine, Administration Console, and the Scheduler

Emissary™ Scheduler

Optional Add-on Windows service that executes scheduled jobs and feeds data to the Web Services Engine

Scheduler can poll for the existence of network files and take action accordingly

Jobs can be chained based on previous job run status

Jobs can be triggered by command line instead of a fixed schedule
